What’s New?
The following table describes the sections updated to reflect the new and updated
features on IPDirector versions 5.8.
In the user manual, the icon has been added on left margin to highlight
information on new and updated features.

Section Description
2.10.3 New General Setting for Clips: Display XT for partial restore.
3.3.14 New Channel Explorer option: possibility to change the server
configuration from IPDirector.
4.2.3 Update: Remote P is now called MPlay remote.
4.2.4 New BEPlay Remote
General Update XT server to EVS video server to take all the EVS video
servers into account. EVS video server is sometimes simply
called EVS server.
