3.4 GROUP MANAGER

3.4.1 INTRODUCTION

When you click the Group Manager button, the Logical Encoder Group Manager

window is displayed in the Work area, allowing you to group together multiple

logical encoders.

A group of encoders will then be visible only to a predefined Xedio Ingest

Organizer workstation. Indeed, at first run of Xedio Ingest Organizer, the group

membership is set.

3.4.2 CREATING A GROUP OF LOGICAL CHANNELS

To create a group of logical encoders, complete the following fields and then click

on the Create button.

The group name is added to the list on the left side of the window.

Field Description

Label Give a name to the group of logical encoder.

Description Optional text to describe the group of logical encoders.
